Services
When it comes to promoting your local biz on the web, we feel it’s best to go “all in!” Here’s why:
There was a time when a business could put up a simple web page and be done with it, but those days, as you know, are long gone.
Website creation and maintenance
An attractive website that communicates well with potential clients is absolutely essential. You will want your site is listed in as many “niche directories” as possible. The site itself needs to be “optimized.” That is, it needs to be made “search engine friendly.”
Google Places listing
If your business is local you need to claim your Google Places listing and add additional useful information such as pictures, videos, perhaps coupons, etc. You need to encourage your satisfied clients to post reviews there also. Google Places has a lot to do with search engine placement or ranking.
Social pages
It is advisable in many cases to create pages on Facebook and twitter. There you can post news, events, pictures, etc. You can “tweet” about your biz and post to your “wall,” and you can collect “friends” and “followers” who like your style.
Having active, popular Facebook and Twitter pages is a very good idea these days, even if you think it’s silly. (It’s called “social presence,” and Google rewards it with better placement!)
Advertising
It is always a good idea to buy some online advertising for you business because when it’s done right it is very cost effective. The mobile internet market is currently booming, and mobile adword ads are becoming ever more desirable.
So you see, modern internet presence in it’s most common form is a big feedback loop comprised of your website, and things like Google Places, Facebook, Twitter- and last but not least- a dash of Adwords or other display advertising. You may also want to utilize tools such as email list building or free promotions. There is no set formula, and we have barely scratched the surface here.
We do all of these things. Our fees are very reasonable.
We do all of these for our clients and we can do these things for you, all or in part. Whatever serves your interest best. Some of our clients pay us a monthly fee to manage their entire web presence so they can concentrate on running the actual business. Others have us run their advertising campaigns. Some want things like websites or twitter page management done “a la cart.” It never gets boring!
